Guest Farm and garden with that Karoo charm
It was a big challenge for Matty, a city girl, to create a garden around their
house in the unforgiving Karoo. The climate on the farm differs greatly from
that in Port Elizabeth, the scarcity of water being the most evident.
Today Matty and her husband M.C. run a guest farm as an addition to farming
with sheep. It is amazing what these two have achieved with the limited
resources. They have created a feast for the eyes, at the same time creating
functionality for the guests.
