Spring clean your home
Cleanliness is next to Godliness...
Article by: Lee Burger
Even though we clean our homes or have our
homes cleaned on a continual basis, it is
necessary to do some heavy grime-busting
once or twice a year, especially after the dry
dusty winter months. Virére looks at what to
do and what not to do to get started and finish
the job
You don't need special products
We will do anything to put off important tasks. That is why we
use shopping for specialist products to put off on cleaning.
(And sometimes use cleaning as an excuse not to do
something else...) Truth is good old Sunlight liquid can clean
almost everything, and you do not need that cooker hood
cleaner when soapy water will clean it just as well. It is not
overly harsh, but takes off the grime. Bicarbonate of soda and
lemon juice is also a fantastic eco-friendly cleaner that won't
break the bank.
Prioritize to clean smart
Most people prefer a room by room or an item by item approach.
Start with the items that takes a long time to clean like blinds and
curtains, then the cupboards and end with the tasks that are
performed on a weekly basis. That way, should you run out of time,

the smaller task will be done later that week anyway.
