Easy does it
Always let the detergent, brush or cloth do the work. If it
does not come off or clean, it needs a bit more time, not a
harder scrubbing. Applying too much pressure often
scratches surfaces, and does more damage than good.
Take extra care with non-ceramic bathtubs, appliances

Paperwork if often one of most dreaded house cleaning
tasks. Scanning paperwork that can be thrown away not
only saves a lot of space, but it also makes finding things a
lot easier. Spend some time to set up a filing system you
can easily use on a continuous basis, and embrace your
scanner. Do keep the important documents in a dustproof
dark container, and be sure to also back up your
documents onto a portable storage device which you can
keep safe, separately from your PC or laptop.
Clean appliances that clean
It is easy to forget that your washing machine and

your vacuum cleaner, and let them properly dry before
re-fitting. Dabble some of your favourite essential oil on
a piece of cotton wool, and drop it in your vacuum
