"We make our surroundings and then they make us"
Well, here we are. Embarking on a new journey with the people I love, and the people who love what I
love. Gardens for life. It is somewhat overwhelming to even try and describe how much this all means,
but if you do what you love, if you do what you were meant to be doing, it will most certainly be a good
idea to share it. From an early age I knew that I had a gift, and to be absolutely open about it, everyone
has one, but for me it can most accurately be described as appreciation. I can literally appreciate almost
everything (even a very "deurmekaar" house; it reminds me that I have friends who like to live and share
special moments with one another & also gives me the opportunity to apologise for a few grammar and
spelling mistakes that my slip in along the way. lol). At first this gift was unnoticed as one schleps trough
life on the way to a crucial decision that everyone makes at some point or even more than once in their
life. The career you would like to follow. Only then did I identify this fibre in me to understand beauty as
Landscape Architecture. Now I am here, and find purpose in sharing a gift with you, the gift of
appreciation of design, life, living and gardening in a visual format called VIRRe. I hope that you will enjoy
this journey with us, and I would like to say, welcome to our family and thank you for everyone involved.
