Every entrance to the mall has its own unique
character and individual design concept. The overal
objective was to green as many spaces as possible
without obstructing the normal functions typically
associated with retail such as service yards and
signage. Impeccably kept evergreen hedges appeals
to the geometric shapes and forms designed in the
landscape, an element Bertha Wium with over 35
years of experience in design, installation and
maintenance is renowned for. Pedestrian boulevards
have been accentuated with steel structures and
Bougainvillea plants leading to the Mall entrances.
The landscape celebrates the enthusiasm and
attention to detail of its creation. The Virére
Landscape Architecture curator's series would like to
congratulate and thank Bertha for her extraordinary
and continuous contribution to the profession.
