The Irene School of Garden Design students started 2018 with a new group of students and fresh ideas.
With the plants of Plantland nurseries students build a show garden every month to delight the visitors and
inspire new garden ideas. The full-time students built their final show garden at Plantland, The Cornwall
hil . The first group set out to build a delightful y floral garden to celebrate the last days of summer. Nozuko
Mtshixa, Richardt Kaempffer and lecturer Lee Burger built the first garden, a new experience for the 2018
group to delight visitors with a colourful and fun garden in tones of pink and purple. The garden consisted
of two planters with hedges and outlined with pink Gaura and feature plants.
