Wrap some plumbers tape (the white stuff) around al the
thread. Plumbers tape ensures that it fits snugly but not
too tight that the position of the arms and legs can't be
adjusted.
Start with the bum. Take a T-pieces and put a short
pipe on each of the three sides.
2
Next comes the hip bones. Use the 90° elbows for
these.
Use the longer pips to create the upper legs.
Connect the knees to the upper legs. The knees
again are 90° elbows.
The lower legs are the same length as the upper legs
Now for the feet. The feet are made from 45° elbows
with plugs for toes.
The chest is made from a cross fitting.
Make the neck with another short pipe.
At this point I dril a hole in the bum and thread through
3
the electric wire. Keep on threading the wire through the
neck and head pieces as you go.
Now it's time for the upper body. Use short pipes
with 90° elbows to make the shoulders.
Add the upper arms again using short pipes.
The elbows are made from 45° elbows.
Add the lower arms using short pipes.
The hands are galvanised caps.

For the neck I used a 45° elbows with a very short
pipe to make the head lean forward.
The head is a socket reducer. The larger side of the
reducer must be able to fit the lamp holder. This
size can be different based on the lamp holder you
get.
To finish off the electricals, connect the lamp holder
to the wiring. I used epoxy to glue the porcelain
lamp holder in place in the head.
Connect the plug and optional switch.
Then screw in your bulb of choice, and you are
5
done.
