Current owner and director of Irene School of Garden Design, Lee Burger is well known for his infectious enthusiasm for teaching, his extraordinary design ability, and his passion for garden design. Lee Burger is a conferring lecturer and assessor for leading educational institutions and universities in South Africa and is a prominent consultant and designer of a variety of projects especially in design and architecture. He is a skilled writer and author of numerous books, publications, articles, and the principal author of the premier programs for Irene School of Garden Design. As well as his valuable contribution to the written and academic realm of Landscape Design and Architecture, he has been actively lecturing since 2006, sharing his devotion to the profession. His compelling enthusiasm and design wisdom frequently leads to numerous talks, seminars, and courses held locally and internationally. Lee Burger is the owner of his own Landscape Architectural firm, ISGD, a division of the Irene School of Garden Design and is responsible for an array of projects in the industry ranging from large-scale Landscape Architectural projects to designing some of the country’s most desirable home gardens. Rooted and armed with his knowledgeable background, benevolent nature, exceptional skill set, and the remarkable ability to communicate ideas, Lee is sure to inspire and educate in a way that touches lives and environments.
